Although it wasn't a Victorian colonial tradition to paint buildings in bright/acidic colours. I think it gives these beautiful colonial buildings a South African identity. Colour looks fantastic in our sunlight.
One day, I may just detach that facade and pluck it on my shop, even if it makes no sense. And I can just imagine it with the giant tea cup inside somewhere!
You don't actually understand how much I love the green building! And that shade of green is too beautiful for my eyes to handle!
